Why Stacking Works
Coupon stacking is the holy grail of deal hunting. Most retailers allow you to use one store coupon and one manufacturer coupon per item. When you add a cashback app into the mix, you are effectively triple-dipping on your discounts.
1. Know Your Store Policies
Before you begin, read the fine print. Target, for instance, allows a Target Circle offer, a manufacturer coupon, and a Target RedCard discount all on the same transaction.
2. Timing is Everything
The best time to stack is during clearance events. Combining a 50% off clearance price with a high-value $3 manufacturer coupon can sometimes result in getting the item for free (or even making money!).
